Mr. Muir is a graduate in Engineering from Dalhousie University and has an MBA from McGill University. His experience in the investment industry straddles both sides of the street, with more than 25 years in research at Richardson Greenshields, 10 years of which were as Director of Research. He also spent three years at AGF as part of the team charged with developing the firm’s presence in the high net worth investment management business. More recently he served as Director of Research at Canaccord Capital and Harris Partners.
