Prior to joining Fraser Mackenzie Mr. Barnes worked at Jacob Securities for four years building out the institutional client base in Europe and North America. Mr. Barnes began his Institutional Sales career initially focused on renewable power, clean technology and energy metals to now include gold, base metals and oil & gas. Before Jacob Securities, Mr. Barnes spent eleven years in Investor Relations, managing multiple investor relations accounts, gaining exposure to clients in numerous sectors including mining, oil & gas, technology and REITs, including 3 years at Extendicare Inc. Mr. Barnes is a graduate of Laurentian University.
