Director, Institutional Sales
Mr. Oliver has almost 10 years capital markets experience in research and sales. He joined Fraser Mackenzie in January 2011 as Head of Institutional Sales. His career began in 2001 at KPMG, where he attained his Chartered Accountant designation. Subsequent, Mr. Oliver worked at Octagon Capital as a research associate in oil and gas (international and domestic), golds, aerospace and biotechnology. From 2004 to 2011, Mr. Oliver worked his way from Associate Research Analyst to Director of Institutional Sales at Canaccord Genuity focusing on resource stocks with a specialization in energy. Mr. Oliver has helped to finance well over $1.0 billion of equity and debt for private, TSX and TSX Venture listed companies.
